For over 48 years, Salida Concerts and the Aspen Music Festival have provided a summer series of classical music for the people of the Arkansas River Valley.  Salida Concerts provides the venue and audience for the concerts. Aspen provides a wide variety of world-famous musicians performing memorable concerts in Salida. These concerts begin in early July and run every Saturday for six weeks. Past performers have included: Joyce Yang, Anton Nel, Reneé Fleming, Edgar Meyer, Colin Davin, William Hagen, American Brass Quintet, Pacifica Quartet, Orli Shaham, the Ajax Quartet, and William Chen.
